Berks Relic Hunters works hard to ensure that metal detecting remains a free and unregulated sport. This can only be achieved through strict adherence to the metal detector's code of ethics.

All members must pledge to follow all Federal, State and Local laws governing the excavation and/or removal of items of historical value.

Furthermore, all members must respect the rights of property owners and municipalities when engaging in the sport of metal detecting.
